Victoria, we stayed here for 3 nights. 1 night in the car in some park and 2 nights at a hotel. We actually went to see the AVATAR in 3D on our first night, slept mostly through the movie & then went back to the car to sleep some more… woke up with the sun & bright blue skies. People jogging & walking their dogs looking at us & quickly away while we brushed our teeth hihi..
I just opened my netvibes for the first time since i left home to find dozens of posts about the death of Alexander McQueen. WOW heavy i can’t believe it. He has been for so many an inspiration an absofu**inglutely great designer, even me. Not only did i love love his designs but the way he displayed them in to a true art form. Love this runway show where he spraypainted a dress LIVE » http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=reK0A1XIjKA
I’m still shaking,
alexander mcqueenWhen we arrived in Port Hardy it was 03:30.. with a liter of coffee we decided to ride on towards Victoria & see how far we could get. Somewhere before Coombs we drove through the forest to fall asleep in the car. Wayland headed out to the caves to get some energy from nature.
After a few hours we headed back on the road and instead of straight to Victoria we went to storm sea storm country.. it was fun but very wet.

Just to give you an idea how the route of the ferry was.
So we left on thursday midnight to Prince Rupert, grabbed the car and took another ferry to Port Hardy. This second ferry ride took us at least 17 hours.. We set up camp & watched the Olympics Ceremony and i spent most of my time on the boatdeck, looking at the mountains/islands trying to get glimpses of wildlife. ( i spotted a group of dolphins a few times!!)
