Just to give you an idea how the route of the ferry was.
So we left on thursday midnight to Prince Rupert, grabbed the car and took another ferry to Port Hardy. This second ferry ride took us at least 17 hours.. Winnipeg
We arrived here in Winnipeg yesterday around dusk. The drive from Thunderbay to here was long and boring. For more then 5 hours we were surrounded by nothing more then snowcovered Pine Trees. I think my highlight of that trip was in the beginning when we suddenly changed into theĀ Eastern Standard Time zone!!! Very cool i feel like i’m back to the future ^__^

Closed / Ferme
– On the way towards the destinations we came across Motels, Hotels, Gas Stations, Convenience Stores even LCBO’s (Liquor Stores) that were all closed for the season. Ok so there was a lot of snowfall yesterday so there were also roads that were just closed because it wasn’t snowplowed.
